Ken Lim
Massage Therapist (since 2014)

ITEC Diploma Level 3 (UK) in Anatomy, Physiology & Sports Massage Therapy
FINA Certified Swimming Coach Level 2
SSC National Coaching Accreditation Level 2
National Coach for the 26th SEA Age Group Championship

Core Skills:
Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Release, Trigger Point & Myofascial Release

Practice Location:

Ken Lim grew up in a swimming family and his passion for swimming had led him to being a competitive swim coach in The Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) for 19 years. To name one of his career highlight, he was instrumental in nurturing National swimmer, Joseph Isaac Schooling during his formative years at the tender age of 6.

Ken is also passionate about triathlon. He represented Singapore as a national triathlete (1994 to 1995) and competed in several prominent meets like Asian Triathlon Championship. Subsequently, Ken went on to complete several Ironmans and marathon races until he was diagnosed with cancer.

Yet, cancer did not kill his love for sports - upon recovery he returned to running and cycling almost immediately and has never looked back. Cancer also took him to give back by doing what he does best, rendering therapeutic massages for some elderly whom he crossed path.

Being an athlete and cancer survivor, Ken is the best person to relate with those who are plagued by injuries and frustrations of not being able to do what they love. He would not just be the hands that seek to serve the sufferers, but also an inspiration to those who are in the journey of recovery.

Adventurer, ultrarunner, sports nerd. Constantly testing limits, taking inspiration from my incredible circle of friends and beyond. I’m not afraid to go against the grain, not in an aggressive way, just happy to think outside the box.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I’d like to inspire people, to show that you can achieve what you first perceive as impossible, by having faith, taking a step out of your comfort zone, and learning from things that don’t quite go as planned.

pilates + yoga instructor

Lisa’s strong practice is a true testament to her two plus decades of yoga practice. Her teachings inspire her students to develop a d eeper connection with their own body, mind, breath and wellness.

Like most people, she started yoga to de-stress.  At that point in her life,  Lisa was looking for direction and read that yoga was like a ‘happy pill’.  She was under the impression that yoga was all about meditation until she met one of her first teachers in a Hatha Yoga class and hasn’t looked back since.

To Lisa, yoga has evolved to become a holistic approach to wellness, involving much more than physical postures, but also including an emphasis on stilling the changing states of the mind (yogaśh-citta-vrtti-nirodhah).  Her classes are strong, rigorous, yet refined, as they offer her students an understanding of the physical body through key anatomical focuses and attention to alignment. Her approach is extremely hands-on, and she encourages her students to develop and progress at their own pace.

Deeply passionate about her study and deep-seeded knowledge in myofascial and trigger point release, Lisa uses the technique as therapy and rehabilitation for students recovering from injuries. As part of her continued education in yoga and using yoga as medicine, therapy and alternative healing, Lisa is currently pursuing her 1000-hour advanced yoga teacher training with Yoga Medicine under the direct tutelage of Tiffany Cruikshank.

Besides a yoga teacher accreditation, Lisa is also a certified Balanced Body Pilates instructor, a Usui Reiki energy healer, and a Star 1 Spinning instructor based in Singapore.
