Dr Ang Chia Liang
Orthopaedic Surgeon, Singapore

Dr Ang Chia Liang has more than 17 years of Orthopaedic experience and is the founder of Centurion Orthopaedic Centre (www.coc.sg)

He has performed more than 6000 orthopaedic surgeries and more than 1500 knee surgeries. He has particular expertise in Knee, Hip, and Shoulder conditions.

Dr Ang sub-specialises in 

  • Minimally Invasive treatment of joint conditions
  • joint replacements and
  • bone fractures

Dr Ang treats his patients using a variety of non-surgical and surgical methods. His philosophy emphasizes individualising each Patient's treatment method in order to achieve the best recovery outcomes and to meet the Patient's expectations.

In Dr Ang’s practice, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy is an important adjunct in the treatment of many bone and joint problems.

He is an expert in Key-Hole (Arthroscopic) surgeries of the Knee, Hip, Shoulder and Ankle. He has performed complex knee and hip joint replacements for patients up to 90 years old.​​

Dr Ang graduated from the National University of Singapore. He has worked at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in UK and was a Fellow of the American Orthopaedic Association. He has published widely and has authored numerous chapters on Knee Replacements and Knee Arthroscopy.
